Massive surge in COVID cases indicative of third wave in India, like in other countries: Expert

The massive surge in the number of covid cases in India since the last week is indicative of a third wave of the pandemic, Dr. NK Arora, the chairman of the COVID-19 working group of the NTAGI said on Tuesday. The statement by the expert comes as major Indian cities are witnessing more than 50 per cent of Omicron cases out of all the fresh coronavirus cases.
